Меня ломает, что-то делать

One of the possible translations of the phrase 'Меня ломает, что-то делать' is 'I'm layabout to do smth'. Though according to MacMillan (http://www.macmillandictionary.com/thesaurus/british/layabout/layabout_4/People-who-are-lazy-or-slow-to-act) this phrase is rather old-fashioned.
Point 2. The dictionaries I looked this word up in didn't list this word as an adjective (COUNT Noun only).   But current usage goes a bit further than that.
